LekThai ("the app") is a tool for practising Thai numbers. It is built to collect as little as possible about you. In plain terms: there are no accounts, no ads, no trackers, and no analytics, and the app does not send your personal information anywhere.

The short version

• We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
• We do not require an account or a login.
• We do not show ads or use advertising SDKs.
• We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
• Your practice progress is saved only on your own device.

What the app stores, and where

To remember which numbers you find easy or hard, the app saves your practice progress locally on your device using your browser's standard on-device storage (localStorage). This includes things like how many times a number has been shown and whether you got it right.

This information never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. You can erase it at any time using the "Reset progress" button in the app's settings, or by clearing your browser or app data.

Audio (text-to-speech)

To play the pronunciation of a number, the app uses the text-to-speech voice built into your browser or operating system. The number being spoken is handled on your device by that built-in voice. LekThai does not record audio and does not send your input to us.

Depending on your device and settings, your operating system's own text-to-speech feature may process the spoken text according to that provider's terms (for example, Google or Apple). This is the same system used by other apps on your device and is outside LekThai's control.

Hosting

The website is served as static files through our hosting provider. Like most web hosts, the provider may automatically process standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect against abuse. LekThai itself does not add any tracking to this.

Children's privacy

LekThai does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is a simple learning tool suitable for general audiences and is not directed at collecting data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy — for example, if ads or optional accounts are added in the future — this policy will be updated, and the effective date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
